Jetstar's Melbourne-Denpasar Route Changes for Summer 2026
Jetstar has made some adjustments to its Melbourne-Denpasar route for the Northern summer 2026 season, despite recently announcing an expansion of services to Denpasar. From March 19, 2026, the airline will reduce the frequency of flights from 28 to 26 per week, and then further to 23 per week from March 29, 2026. These changes will affect the period from April 5, 2026, to September 30, 2026.
Here are the updated flight schedules:
- JQ043: Melbourne 06:25 - 10:35 Denpasar (32Q D)
- JQ043: Melbourne 09:15 - 13:25 Denpasar (32Q D)
- JQ033: Melbourne 15:50 - 20:00 Denpasar (32Q D)
JQ035: Melbourne 17:40 - 21:50 Denpasar (32Q 26)
JQ032: Denpasar 12:05 - 19:40 Melbourne (32Q D)
JQ044: Denpasar 14:55 - 22:30 Melbourne (32Q D)
JQ034: Denpasar 21:20 - 04:55+1 Melbourne (32Q D)
JQ036: Denpasar 23:25 - 07:00+1 Melbourne (32Q 26)
Despite these changes, Jetstar's overall service between Australia and Denpasar is still increasing, with the airline now offering 101 weekly one-way Australia departures.
It's worth noting that these changes come after Jetstar's previous announcements regarding Denpasar services. For example, the airline will introduce a new route from Avalon to Denpasar with 5 weekly A321LR flights from March 30, 2026, and a new route from Maroochydore (Sunshine Coast) to Denpasar-Singapore with 3 weekly A321LR flights from March 24, 2026. Additionally, the Melbourne-Denpasar-Singapore service will be reduced to 1 out of 4 daily flights, and the Newcastle-Denpasar-Singapore service will increase from 3 to 4 weekly flights, extending to Singapore with an A321LR aircraft.
These changes demonstrate Jetstar's dynamic approach to route planning and service optimization, adapting to market demands and customer preferences.
